Houda Bakir was born in Carthage. She received a MS/MSc in Electrical Engineering Option Automatic Industrial Computing, in 2004, a Master degree in Automatics and Process Engineering Option Automation, at the Higher School of Sciences and Techniques of Tunis (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences et Techniques de Tunis ESSTT), in 2009, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering option Image and Signal Processing from the National Higher School of Engineers of Tunis, in 2016. Her current research studies are in Big Data analysis, computer vision and machine learning techniques.

From 2013 to 2015, she worked as the CEO of Grace Light Tunisia. Where she supervised projects in smart homes modules. In 2015, she joined the École supérieure privée d’ingénierie et de Technologie (ESPRIT) as Assistant Professor where she led the Analytical Finance. In 2015, she worked as Consultant with Intellixx IT Services Company in Finance Field. Since October 2016, she is working as Lead AI Research position in Datavora S.A. Dr. Bakir, is a member of the Laboratory CEREP, Centre de Recherche en Productique – ENSIT. And a member in Larina Lab in ENSTAB.

Nowadays she is the CEO of Super-Viz a startup specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision and the Co-founder and General Director of HISTORIAR a Labeled Startup AI driven product in the XR world.
