On 5 November 2026 in Marseille, the Mediterranean Forum on Artificial Intelligence will host a Citizens’ Forum dedicated to trust and artificial intelligence.
As part of this 3rd edition of the Mediterranean Forum on Artificial Intelligence, the Citizens’ Forum offers a space for dialogue between citizens and players in the artificial intelligence ecosystem. The goal: to enable people with a wide range of profiles and backgrounds to share their perceptions, questions and expectations about the changes brought by AI.
No technical expertise is required. The Citizens’ Forum is open to anyone who wishes to contribute to a collective reflection on the place of artificial intelligence in society, its uses, its opportunities and the questions it raises.
Who can take part?
We are looking for around twenty participants living in Marseille and the surrounding region, with particular attention to the diversity of backgrounds and experiences, notably within the Algerian, Moroccan, Tunisian, Egyptian and Lebanese diasporas.
Participation is open to adults, and no prior knowledge of artificial intelligence is needed.
A space for citizens’ voices to be heard
The Citizens’ Forum will gather views on a central question: how can we build a relationship of trust with artificial intelligence?
Discussions will cover in particular the uses of AI in everyday life, citizens’ expectations and concerns, and the conditions for developing artificial intelligence that is more in tune with society’s needs.
The contributions from this process will feed into the reflections and discussions of the Mediterranean Forum on Artificial Intelligence.
